Kerry Kazmierowicztrimm is a playwright, screenwriter, bookwriter, lyricist and actor. He’s had over 280 productions of his plays and musicals staged in five countries. Three of his plays and musicals have been published by Beat by Beat Press, which has also released recordings of his scores for SALLY SELLS SEASHELLS and GIANTS IN THE SKY. His play WOUNDED premiered Off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse and is currently under option to be adapted into a feature film. His play E-SCAPE is touring Minnesota as part of Climb Theatre's 2019-2020 season. He’s won and placed in over two dozen playwriting competitions, including winning 4 Better Lemons Critics’ Choice Awards and being a Finalist for the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. He’s currently attending NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
He loves writing both shows for younger audiences, and also more adult material exploring the ways that people (often unintentionally) end up hurting those they love most. He is equally inspired by Martin McDonagh’s THE PILLOWMAN and Pixar’s WALL-E.
